Who we are

Tenda is a product of Astanah Store Limited, a company registered in Lusaka, Zambia. If you have any questions about this policy, email us at info@tendazm.com.

What data we collect

When you use Tenda, we collect:

Account information — your name, email address, phone number, and company name when you sign up.
Payment proof images — screenshots or photos you upload to confirm an Airtel Money payment.
Feedback submissions — messages you send us via the feedback widget, including any optional screenshots you attach.
Usage logs — the pages you visit on Tenda and your browser type (user agent). We use this to keep the platform running and to troubleshoot problems.
Compliance documents — files you upload to your document library (e.g. NCC certificates, tax clearance, company profile).

We do not collect payment card numbers. Airtel Money transactions happen directly through Airtel's network; we only see the transaction reference you give us.

Why we collect it

To create and manage your account.
To verify your payment and activate your Pro subscription.
To show you tender matches and eligibility assessments.
To investigate bugs or issues you report.
To improve the platform — we use anonymised data internally to train our tender-matching models. See the AI clause below.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored in Cloudflare D1 (our database) and Cloudflare R2 (file storage). Cloudflare operates data centres across the EU and US edge network. Our team processes this data from Zambia.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only in two situations:

Our payment-verification team — Astanah staff who manually check your transaction reference to confirm payment.
Legal authorities — if we receive a valid legal request under Zambian law, we will comply.

We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.

AI and training data

We use anonymised platform data in-house only to improve tender matching. We do not share platform data with third-party AI vendors. Your documents and company profile are never used to train models outside of Astanah Store Limited.

How long we keep your data

Account data — kept while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account closure if you request it.
Audit logs — kept for 12 months, then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

Show you what data we hold about you.
Correct information that is wrong.
Delete your account and associated data.

To make a request, email info@tendazm.com. We will respond within 14 days.

Cookies

We use one cookie — a session cookie that keeps you logged in. It is deleted when you sign out or close your browser. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will email you at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continuing to use Tenda after that date means you accept the new policy.
